Our Why
Cutter’s Cattle was created in memory of Cutter Trent Loveday, a little cowboy whose life was far too short, but whose impact continues to reach far beyond his years.
Cutter was born August 3, 2018, and from the beginning, he had a way of making people feel loved and special. His unforgettable “I luh you” captured the heart of who he was—a sweet, determined little boy with an enormous love for his family, animals, and the people around him. His light lit up any room he entered.
Cutter loved the cowboy life. He wanted to be wherever his animals were. Checking on the butcher pigs, feeding the cows grass, even riding the calves (with dad's help). He was determined to be a cowboy.
At just two years old, Cutter went home to be with Jesus. Our family knew that although Cutter's time here was brief, we knew that God was going to use his story to make a lasting impact.

Cutter’s Cattle gives us a way to carry forward the things that were already such a big part of Cutter's little life: cattle, family, community, and loving others.
We raise cattle with a greater purpose. The beef produced through our program is processed and given directly to local individuals and families experiencing difficult seasons—putting quality protein into the homes of people who need it most.
Every animal raised, every pound of beef donated, and every family helped allows Cutter's legacy to continue.
What began with one little cowboy's love for cattle has become an opportunity to love our neighbors in a very practical way.

Those three little words mean more to us than we could ever explain. They remind us of Cutter. They remind us to love people well. And they remind us why we do this.
Cutter may have only had two years to leave his mark on this world, but we believe a meaningful life isn't measured simply by how long someone is here. It's measured by the lives they touch.
Through Cutter’s Cattle, his impact continues. We raise the cattle. We give the beef. We love our neighbors. And through it all, we carry forward the heart of a little cowboy who taught us just how powerful three simple words could be:
“I luh you.”
